Experience the Natural Treasures of Lombok – a heaven on earth

Exhausted with the bustling and thriving of a city life, you might want to find a getaway to relax yourself. If you are in search for serenity and natural beauty, Lombok Island is the perfect destination. Easily reached from Bali via 25-minute flight or six-hour ferry voyage, you could be in one of the most beautiful natural resorts in Indonesia.
Compared to its counterpart, Lombok still has many unfolded God-made treasures hidden in mountains, beaches and waterfalls, leaving most parts untouched by tourists. Its natural surroundings are mostly well preserved despite some resplendent hotel and entertainment buildings in the city area.

Putri Mandalika Beach

Named after a princess, Putri Mandalika beach has a gorgeous view with blue skyline creating a perfect real painting. It is well known for the white round big sand usually called pepper sand and the quiet, where you can only hear the soft rushing of timid waves and the shouting of local boys selling sand in bottles, trying to get some little money from the visitors to help their education. Stepping on the sand, close your eyes and feel the wind stroking your skin softly, then you will feel like being in heaven.

Rinjani Mountain

Horse Race

Usually taking place twice a year, especially on the Independence and Youth Pledge day, horse race is a famous event in West Nusa Tenggara. What makes the race so special is the horses are ridden by young boys instead of men.
Should you get bored with tall buildings and seek to experience a different view, Lombok is a place you must include in your travel list.
